    I'm B-A-C-K!!!!

    Hello everyone - I'm a voice from the past - apparently 2004!! I've just signed back in as I'm going to be going on Tecfidera and I want to be able to chat with others who are also just starting - I think I'm about 3 weeks away, by the time the paperwork's done and I get the Rx filled etc.

    Anyway, this is who I USED to be!! LOL! Still am, but couldn't find my old password or email address I had 9 years ago......

    Look forward to catching up again and to see if some of the familiar names from 9 years ago are still popping in and out on the boards here!

      You've been around a lot longer than I have, but just want to welcome you back Good luck with Tecfidera! There are lots of posts in our Medication forum about others just starting too. Take care!

              I might even remember you, Sunbeam. Have been around a long time, too, but was fairly irregular for quite awhile, and I only post sporadically now. I try to check the boards regularly, though, as a moderator.

              Symptoms began in JAN02
              - Dx with RRMS in OCT03, following 21 months of limbo, ruling out lots of other dx, and some "probable stroke" and "probable CNS" dx for awhile.
              - In 2008, I was back in limbo briefly, then re-dx w/ MS: JUL08              .
              - Betaseron NOV03-AUG08; Copaxone20 SEPT08-APR15; Copaxone40 APR15-present
              - Began receiving SSDI / LTD NOV08. Not employed. I volunteer in my church and community.

                Thanks for all the warm welcome backs!! Fishead and Mamabug you were definitely prominent when I used to hang out in my "early" days!

                I think I'm supposed to get Tecfidera this week, but I was a little concerned about the possibility of PML, although it WASN'T w/Tecfidera......! I'll go over and post my question there - why don't they just test all of us for JC so we know where we stand and who might be at higher risk...?

                Now to get my fonts, signature and avatar back here!!

                      Day One - Tecfidera!

                      Day One, Pill One!! I've posted my (pretty benign) experience with side fx from Pill One this AM...... hoping for the same or less tonight! Will try and keep a journal going - I know the guy on YouTube helped me, just by hearing about what he was experiencing, but I'm not quite THAT high tech to do a video!!!

                          I bailled out of Maine about 5 years ago. MS and Aroostook Co. don't get along well.
