I've had MS since early childhood, older than most of you probably, but haven't been around other MS people and I feel too isolated. Also, I have no family, they have all passed on. It definitely ran in my mother's side of the family but I got it worse than anyone.
I can feel for all the people that are dealing with a new diagnosis, as well as the symptoms. Also, I can sympathize with all the people who have been repeatedly misdiagnosed.
Even with doing computer-based work for years, I never had time to get on facebook or twitter. When you're all alone in the world, no one's got your back, and it's been very rough. Weeks ago I finally put my facebook page up, and I was hoping to get MS friends from around the world. I don't know if facebook links are allowed in this forum, and I need a couple of hours of rest right now before I can check and see if they do.
All in all, I came into the world with this illness, and I'm going out with it. It's not the MS that scares me- it's everything else!
