I have three cats who are the absolute loves of my life. They each possess the same wonderful talent – making me feel better when I am feeling down. They are my best MS medicine.

All Squeak has to do is flop on the floor and look up at me and the blues just melt away.

Moo rolls over and shows me her belly and I can’t help but smile.

And Mon Ami gives kitty kisses, and she is the best snuggler!

My two younger cats, Squeak (so named for his squeaky meow) and Moo are brother and sister. They are one year old, and spend much of their awake time playing their favorite game, “chase each other.” It is hilarious watching them zip back and forth, like they’re in a cartoon. I am envious of their energy, and sometimes they drive me nuts, but I suppose the free entertainment makes up for that.

Maximus
This fluffy black cat is Maximus (Max), who passed away in the summer of '05. Max loved sitting on my lap and having his beautiful coat brushed. He was my “very pretty guy.” When he was in the sun, you could see the reddish-brown highlights in his fur. I used to love watching him walk down the stone path in my backyard every time I let him outside. During these cold winter months, I especially miss having my big and furry Max to keep me warm at night.
Life would be so empty without my cats. I’d never adjust or be as happy without them.
