Sweet & Sour Pork

Printer-friendly version
by:
Jason Hagan, aka silentgi77
How could people learn to savor
such a food with colliding flavor?
Sometimes sweet, sometimes sour,
surrounding a meat covered by flour.
It reminds me of the everyday things
that our lord and savior often brings.
Sometimes sweet, sometimes sour,
always raining a hypothetical shower.
So when you wake you could make a choice,
choose to be sad, or choose to rejoice.
Silly you say? Just try it on,
a smile pays off and it doesn't take long.
So there's your sweet and there's your sour,
nothing standing between you and god's power.
It's not what you own or where you've been,
but how you celebrate life in the end.
So enjoy the pork and please don't be picky,
that's just life and sometimes its sticky.
