I have a long term disease

And none wants to see

How ill I am

But what when

I am gone

Will there be a song

Written in my name

Or will ignorance remain

Am I in Pain

Or do I survive

Despite how long

I shall be here on earth

You are to know and love me

Please respect my existence

While here with you

I am not blue

Or ready to give in

For then I will not be

Near you or be able to

Speak with you in person

Believing that we met

For a reason

Every life has a season

I will be with you always
