Is it really out there?

 Or only within the confines of someone’s mind

Is it more than just a manufactured idea?

Or can it be found connected to a living soul?

The toll can only be valued by the results of the journey

There always is a price to pay, as one conducts the search

Hopefully one’s coffers will maintain for the duration

So sad to feel spent, broke as far as to obtain the required energy

At last, faced with the idea of continuance

To extend the efforts, knowing it’s hot to the touch

Holding on with both hands, hopeful that the search will soon be done
