I love my turtle
alone, rejected, and hurt
the story of her

turtle don't you cry
others will learn about you
please give them a try

turtle tried and tried
they did not give her a chance
turtle just waited

one then another
turtle was oh so happy
something was to change

there may have been six
only two seemed to like her
it made turtle sad

one night it happened
it was a one time mistake
turtle was sorry

all was forgiven
at least that is what was said
but no one moved on

I love my turtle
My turtle is alone now
I guess I am dim

family's don't leave
they get mad they fuss
don't forget a kin

I'll rescue turtle
I'll never leave her again
I give you my word

This is our bonding
when I say it, I mean it
you are my turtle

turtle and I cried
we shared this bond from the start
sad about the friends

I love my turtle
building, guiding & such
she is amazing

once turtles come out
they show you what they can do
just give them a chance

I love my turtle
see, I learned about patience
and her shell came off

Wow I am learning
she is clever and funny
