Today’s not my Anniversary, it’s certainly not Valentine’s Day, nor is it my wife’s birthday. Heck, it’s a typical day not unlike any other day. However today a wave of emotion has drenched me. It swelled my heart and pumped elixir through my veins! It completely manifests itself in all my brain waves. It blinds my sight from all distractions. It champions all angst, obnoxious and hideous challenges. It is wholesome, honest and able. It will live long after I cease to exist…What the heck am I talking about?

It’s stronger than muscle. It’s more valuable than gold. It’s more powerful than Superman. It’s embedded in every religion. It’s the answer to every dream. It’s more spectacular than atoms colliding. It’s millions of years old. It’s something shared. Do you know what IT is?

It can’t be taught, shaped or measured. When it’s true bliss, it’s better than winning the Super Bowl, the World Series and the lottery, all combined. They say opposites attract. They say you can’t rush it. They say if it’s true and you let it go, it will come back to you. Yes, it’s got those four letters. Say it!

That’s it. That’s what my better half, my everything, my incredible wife allows me to understand. Without her, I don’t have it. Because of her, I do!!

This week she’s going to have a delicate operation. She’s been in the hospital and in a rehabilitation center since January fourth. They say God listens to prayers. My daughter and I and my wife could use your prayers. For the surgeon, the anesthesiologist, dealing with the insurance company and all we’ll need to deal with recovery and getting on with our lives. To try to get back to as normal as we’re allowed. Suffice to say my wife has MS and without a cure, yet alone a cause, all my tears continue to just mess up my glasses.

Disability stinks. There are challenges we all must face someday. Yes life is not fair all the time. I can tell you this, "Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I love ya tomorrow! You’re always, a day away".
