In honor of “Ogden Nashie,” my first husband’s favorite poet Outside our front door the wide green world awaits, As if charging my health beckons open yard gates. I will die if I don’t get fresh veggie exercise daily; I will slowly turn pasty, impure, gnarly and palely. A daily walk making for strong physical constitution Must be done despite overhead wind’s air pollution. It will show that my frugal week’s performance at work Is split by a real player, not your sick sucking new jerk! At any rate, sprawling ‘pon the sofa sprouting TV eyes As a couch potato – that’s where my own soul truly lies. All materials published in LivingMStm are protected by copyright laws.
