Question bugs crawling on my legs

hi to everyone and thanks for reading this it's driving me crazy! All day today I feel like bugs are crawling on my legs and now that I finally let myself lay in bed it's ten times worse! Today is another first official day of an episode for me with horrible spasticity! The pain, weakness, tightness, even the numbness I've had before but this creepy crawling feeling is crazy! Anyone else get this?

Yes, the 'bugs crawling' thing. I call it the 'creepy crawlies'. There are a number of medications that may reduce it, you will have to discuss it with your Doctor. It can be a trial and error thing.

Yes, I have the creepy crawlies as well, but not every episode. I have them on my arms, hands, fingers, face, legs and feet.

Sometimes my whole head feels like ants crawling around in my hair, which of course they are not.

I am in the middle of a flair now and they are driving me bonkers! The first time it happened, which was a number of years ago, I had to look each time to make sure something wasn't crawling on me as I am terrified of spiders. Now that I know what it is, I just brush the area and try to ignore it. Not easy to do and I seem to be losing the battle to not let it get to me today!

I know others have talked about this symptom, but thanks for posting. It helps to not feel alone!

Ditton what Hopefilled said. Boo on the creepy crawlies. The worst for me is the constant feeling of them on my face. It wakes me up at night.

Thank goodness it's not all in my head, like looney bin in my head! Lol! But it is driving me crazy! I will have to look into meds for this! My father in law is in from out of town and I think I'm driving him alittle crazy as he is a physician assistant, actually a doctor in the military, only in the civilian world that translates to PA, so I've been raking his brain for ideas and any possible answers to things for me!

there's another thread on here about the exact same sx. spiders or ants or something like that crawling. sorry, i can't remember the exact wording.
it is a creepy feeling. mine are usually just on my legs. when they aren't dead numb they can, esp. at night (like right now) feels ants going across my ankles & feet. at first i'd wake up throwing off the covers & smacking them! until i realized none were there. DH loved that sx. this was a little before predx. now i can control myself, but sometimes it keeps me awake & i 'crawl' out of bed & do other things to try & disract myself.
call dr. if this is new, i know lyrica & mirapex have helped me. only your dr can help with those. good luck w/ FIL. hope he's patient.
